Heavy-Duty Hoisting & Drawworks Systems
The Hoisting System is one of the primary systems of an oil and gas drilling rig. It is designed to lift, lower, suspend, and support heavy loads during drilling operations. These loads include the drill string, casing, tubing, drill collars, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA), and other downhole equipment.
The hoisting system provides the mechanical force needed to move equipment vertically into and out of the wellbore. It operates through a combination of steel wire rope, pulleys, and a powerful drawworks, allowing operators to safely handle loads that can exceed several hundred tons.
